What areas should be tested?
There are many areas that can potentially be contaminated with the antineoplastic agents. It is important to check contamination levels in these frequently used areas.
These areas include, but are not limited to:
  1. Vertical laminar flow hood
  2. Floor around chair and patient bed
  3. Tabletop and/or cart
  4. Floor in or outside preparation room
  5. Countertop and/or work bench
How often should ChemoGLO be used?
To meet regulatory compliance of USP 797, it is recommended that wipe tests be performed on the sample wipe areas every six months.
When will I get the results?
Results of the wipe studies are issued via email within three to four weeks from the date the ChemoGLO kit is received in our lab.
