What is HDClean?

For Daily Removal of Hazardous Drug Surface Contamination in Preparation and Administration Areas

Hazardous Drug Clean (HDClean) is an easy two step wiping procedure using towelettes that effectively removes hazardous drug surface contamination. HDClean has been laboratory tested to remove surface contamination of docetaxel, paclitaxel, 5-flourouracil, cyclophosphamide, ifosfamide, and cisplatin.

ChemoGLO™ Data shows that 80-90% of sites tested for hazardous drug surface contamination have at least one area of positive contamination. Further ChemoGLO wipe studies have shown that hazardous drug residue will stay on surfaces, even with daily cleaning of those surfaces, long after the actual contamination occurs. The HDClean towelette wiping system is the only laboratory tested cleaning system proven to remove hazardous drug surface contamination. The simple wiping procedure and disposable towelettes offer the convenience of a quick, thorough clean at any time of the day.
