What areas should be tested?
There are many areas that can potentially be contaminated with the antineoplastic agents. It is important to check contamination levels in these
frequently used areas.
These areas include, but are not limited to:
- Vertical laminar flow hood
- Floor around chair and patient bed
- Tabletop and/or cart
- Floor in or outside preparation room
- Countertop and/or work bench
How often should ChemoGLO™ be used?
To meet regulatory compliance of USP 797, it is recommended that wipe tests be performed on the sample wipe areas every six months.
When will I get the results?
Results of the wipe studies are issued via email within three to four weeks from the date the ChemoGLO™ kit is received in our lab.
How much does one wipe study cost?
One wipe study is $2,225.00 plus shipping. This cost includes the ChemoGLO Wipe Kit which contains enough materials to wipe six locations and test for 5 drugs for a total of 30 tests per kit, a full report of findings, and follow up assistance should you have any questions on how to address potential problem areas identified in the report.
